My 3DR ARTF arducopter from Udrones will not stabilize against the wind. I have APM 1. The arducopter drifts with any wind in stabilize. Is there any PID settings I can change to correct this drift? It is impossible to fly in a controlled hover with the wind drift. Today, there were winds of about 5mph.
Thats normal for stabalize mode. If you wan't it to hold position by it's self you need to be in loiter mode. In stabalize, you are still responsible for navigationg the copter.
Greg is right. Also make sure you're using the latest firmware (2.7.1)
