HI guys ... hopefully you will be able to help me...

After my last crash I decided to upgrade my quadcopter. I got new motors, new ESCs, new proprietress and finally new naza lite FC since the previous one got totally crazy after the crash. I have been flying naza for few months befrore and I had no issue at all but with this new setup strange thing are happening. The problem is that when I quickly move any stick of my TX quadcopted starts wobble and then it's flipping over. It doesn't really matter which stick I move (Throttle, Rudder, Aileron or Elevator) it always ends up in same way ... quad starts wobble and flips over in the end. I need to highlight that the stick movement needs to be fast ... it flies absolutely normal when I operate my stick gently. It takes off without a problem .. it climbs normally ... descends normally ... if fact with smooth gentle stick movement it flies great ... problem is only when I try to give any input fast. At the beginning I though it might be a GAINs problem ... but I have gone through many settings with the same result. Ah I forgot to mention that I'm flying in ATTi/GPS mode .. GPS seems to lock perfectly ... I have done compass calibration. Slowly I'm running out of ideas.

Quad specification;

  • f650x tuned frame (after the crash I got new, a bit longer arms +2cm)
  • 4 x Emax MT3510
  • 4 x Afro ESC 30A
  • 4 x APC 12x45 MR
  • naza lite + GPS
  • 4s 5000mAh battery
  • dx6i

I have been testing all gains set to 100%

The gain settings I ended up with are:

Pitch and Roll - 130%

Yew and Vertical - 150%

Attitude - 100%

Unfortunately same behaviors all the time. Apart from this "little" problem everything seems to be OK. Quad flies smooth (no shaking at all, it keeps GPS position the best it can and it keeps attitude)

Hopefully some one will be able to advice anything .. Many thank in advance.

  • I might find what the problem is ... AFRO ESCs seems to have a synchro issue which should go away once I flash them with new FW. I'm now waiting for my USB linker and as soon I get it I will try that out.

  • I forgot to mention that my quad is 2kg heavy .... but not sure how important it's.
