I am planning to use a Hyperion lipo charger to discharge test my new lipos. It has a USB connection, which I will use to graph data. My question is: what voltage do I discharge to? I am unsure of the difference between open loop and closed loop voltage under load. I know that I should never discharge lipo cells past 3V under load. When I give my charger a discharge voltage, does it measure under load or open loop? I'm afraid I will tell it 3.2V per cell, but its measurements will be open loop and it will drain them too low. Can anyone explain for me? Thanks.
