question on the ublox gps and adapter
I've got maybe a stupid question...
if I'm getting a ardupilot mega and a ublox gps do i need the ublox adapter for the gps to work with the shield? I know the shield has a EM406 connection, but what about a backup battery and other feature that this adapter provide?

Yes, you still need the uBlox adapter to use the uBlox module. We'll also be supporting the Mediatek module, but not until we release an adapter for that and code support.
