Raw video and data transmission best RF module?

Hi,

I want to transmit real time raw video(above 500Mbps) or data over 3km in "Australia" and process the data back in home station. Can you please recommend me a suitable RF module with high bandwidth? Whats the best wireless communication protocol I could use?

I am new to this. I am really confused. Do I need to use a DSP like ADSP-BF561 Blackfin Processor to compress the video. Then transmit through a radio modem? 

I want to control the drone hopefully using PC.

    Hi, 

    I presume you are looking at one-way communication - send data from drone to home station.

    If so, have you considered one-way video transmission over DVBT/custom modulation scheme (and up-converting over ISM band 915-928 MHz). Max power limitations of the amplifier must be strictly followed. You should be able to achieve 5km.

    Alternatively you can also consider TV Whitespace technology (supports 2-way communications), but I am not sure about the regulations in Australia. 

    You also need to validate the power consumption of the various chips.modules used in the system and the weight of the system (including antennas).
