Permalink Reply by Hector R. Santini on June 11, 2011 at 10:26am I was out of the loop for a while and was developing a GCS using code 1.02 and #define GCS_PROTOCOL GCS_PROTOCOL_LEGACY. Now that you mention it (using a GCS) I realize that I have to move to version 2.xx to keep up with the flow and if I still want to continue with my GCS project I would have to go back to the drawing board and learn MAVLINK protocol and the works. Is this correct? Although I downloaded the latest Mision Planner and it looks great and works great except that I had to change the dip switch settings. The other thing I noticed is that I don't have an option to select which version I want to download (either locally or online), it allways downloads the latest version available and if I have done some mods to a version I would loose them.
Thanks Chris for your orientation.

Hector, have you checked out my GCS?
Permalink Reply by Hector R. Santini on June 11, 2011 at 11:39am No I haven't. I will do it right now.
Thanks

Very well imppressed. Nice work. I think you are persuading me to hang up my GCS project.
Attached you will see a screen of where I was on my Project (VB.NET). It was working well (not all features I wanted) with version ArdupilotMega 1.02 and GCS_LEGACY protocol but I had to take a break and when I came back everyone is talking about APM2.xx. So I stayed behind.
I think I should try your GCS.
Thanks,
Hector
