Setting up APM RC Failsafe

Hello all,

I have a Navio+ autopilot running APM firmware paired with a Scherrer UHF radio system. I would like to set up RTL to trigger on the autopilot when I fly out of range. Unfortunately, it seems the Scherrer UHF receivers do not support "no signal" or "low throttle" failsafe protocols. The Scherrer receivers seem only to be able to store servo positions that will be called in the event of loss of signal. I suppose I could trim my throttle channel very low, set the failsafe, then return trim to normal, to emulate the "low throttle" style failsafe protocol. However, I haven't actually tried this yet and I am hoping there is a better way. How do you all think would be the most reliable way to setup APM  RC failsafe with this receiver? All input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Walter
