Setting up my first UAV

I have no flight experience so I need to practice that first. I was thinking of getting the bixler from hobby king. Should I get the RTF or the ARF? With the ARF what would it need? I want a long runtime of about 30-45min maybe more if I can so maybe starting out with the ARF is better so I can just pick up bigger batteries while I am at it.

    Hello Jason,

If you have no flight experience you would be best heading to a local club to gain some assistance with learning to fly, it will be a lot easier than coming home with a bag of parts!

I would say to build your first plane would be the way to go, it will give you a better feel for how it all fits together and a local club would be able to help you on these stages too. If you dont have a local club check out the list here and see if there is someone you could buddy up with. :)

    Regards
