Permalink Reply by hightechhobbie on February 19, 2012 at 12:43pm does the Nex 5n have IR shutter control how do you guyus trigger the camera in the air also are you guys using the stock lense it comes with or something different i like that camera i might buy one
Permalink Reply by Vishal on February 19, 2012 at 1:42pm Yes, the Nex 5, 5N, and 7 all have IR shutter control. A couple easy ways to remotely trigger them is to either buy a GentLED or buy a cheap remote control and de-case it and convert to rc use.
Permalink Reply by Vishal on February 19, 2012 at 5:05pm One caveat to the NEX cameras is that they only have hdmi video output. So you either have to get an hdmi to vga converter box (slight lag in video) or add an extra little video camera for fpv.
