Sonar Heat and RC Filter

Hello,

i read often about Problems with the Sonar the Comments "RC Filter and Heat" what they mean with that? How looks a RC Filter for the Sonar and what they mean with heat? And i powerd my APM via a Externel BEC is a Filter needed?

    People with sonar were finding problems with bad data coming from the sonar. Maxbotic, the manufacturer of the sonars proposed a RC filter that has to be installed between the main 5V supply and ground of the sonar.

    Concerning the heating, apperently the sonar is sensitive to humidity and temp. Installing some heat emitting resistors arround the sonar is a great improvement on the signal.
