I recently got a NEX 5n to use on mine.  For remotely triggering the camera, I went the easy route and got a GentLED mean for the Sony nex series.  It works great and is very light and compact.  Check into it if you use the NEX 7.

Yeah, using a DEX5 also, just want to see how it goes an if it all works for my application, I'm just looking into remote triggers now. I'll check out the GentLED cheers.

Post back with your experience using the NEX. Also, there are some threads on using the NEX series for aerial photography at rcgroups.
