Sorting good info from bad

Frustration with the information highway! I have gone from a master of programming a fixed wing line of sight plane to an inept boob on a fixed wing, APM assisted plane. The frustrating search for "how to" information has lead me to here.

I understand there are literally thousands of possible combinations of Tx/Rx/FCs out there. Being able to sort of the valuable info from the garbage requires a high micro filter!!! Then you get some boob that interjects a question about "His" other brand radio transmitter.

The search continues....frustrated!!!

Just start on page one of the wiki, everything you need is there.

  • My issue is/was with setting up flight modes on my old Spektrum DX8. Buddy of mine found a link to a thread on here that was started by Manfred Dickgiesser. Compared to most of the new transmitter programming designs the old DX8 is difficult to assign switches on.

Yes Andre, finding this forum will help a lot.

  • Maybe stop reading a messy forum, and start by reading at ardupilot.com ?
