Not me Johann, I to have fallen prey to a blog being deleted over night, I know how you feel.
I think that unless there is a major issue with the post / blog, it should be left, a polite mail to the member(s) involved in the first instance before being deleted.
Regards
Martin.

If there was something wrong with my post by all means but 110 replies later and then someone finds a problem and doesn't notify me of there intended actions?
Unfortunately, the Ning platform doesn't have a history/revert feature, so I can't tell exactly what happened, and why. I will ask the moderators if anyone knows, but it's also possible that it was just a bug.
In general, no content should be be deleted unless it explicitly violates our site policies--people own their own their words. Our moderator guidelines are here.
If we delete a blog post because it was inappropriate (usually this is a case of question or tech support issue that should have been asked in the discussion forum instead), our policy is to always PM a copy of it to the poster so they can repost in the right place.,
If you ever have a question about moderation or feel that something has been done wrongly, please PM me and I'll try to get to the bottom of it asap.
