A group of us are using the Arducopter board to build a quadrotor for a university project, but anyway, a brief description of the problem.
There is a reading of "press_temp", which I am assuming is the correct parameter for noting the temperature at the time (doesn't seem to be a guide for what each one abbreviations in the telemetry means).
The numbers it produce don't seem to make any sense. Inside in the lab it has a reading of roughly 3000, when the temperature measured beside it on a thermometer is roughly 14degC.
When we went outside it gave a reading of roughly 2000, when I guess it was in reality a few degrees above zero. I found something when searching for a solution which said that it was meant to be in 1/10 degrees, so initially when the first reading was ~2900 we thought it would be in Kelvin, but the outside reading makes that incorrect.
Any suggestions about a scale this could be working with? Or is the temperature sensor possibly defect? I am also worried that this may be a trivial thing and we've missed somethign obvous as I've not found any problems like this in searching.
Thanks for any help,
Francis
