Good day Everyone,

I am new to DIY drones and very excited to be part of the community. I am interested in the commercial use of drones more specifically surveying. I have browsed the web to determine what sensors will best fit my application. Normal GPS is not accurate enough.

For positioning:

Would it be of any benefit to supplement the GPS with an RTK unit of would it be best to install the 3DR uBlox GPS with Compass kit?

For height:

Would it be of any benefit to supplement the above with a sonar, Lidar or barometer to determine exact height from the ground level.

I want traditional survey accuracy if possible.

I will appreciate any advice on the above.
