Hi, I have just purchased the gimbal and connected it to my Iris+ and GoPro 4.
Initially it initialised and pointed facing forward BUT the knob on the transmitter would only move the gimbal down & would not go back up.
I was told by the supplier to calibrate the radio but although the knob shows full left & right movement on the calibration it still did not fix the problem.
I tried using the USB dongle & upgrading the software after downloading the driver etc from Tarot.
Initially I could not get the small connector in the relevant port but the manufacturer had put the heatsink over too much of the connector and it wouldn't fit so I pulled it back & could then insert it.
However I now have the situation that the gimbal just twitches on initialisation, help!

Check this video out to get some pointers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UA73zBJrsmw
Had to use the Gimbal dongle and set the parameters in Tilt setting for angle limits from min 0, max -135 to min 0, and max -90 on my Tarot Gimbal.
Also you need to set the angle correctly in Mission Planner or it will not tilt correctly.
I had to change the MNT_ANGMAX_TIL from -45 to 0 and the MNT_ANGMIN_TIL from 45 to -90.
I received instructions from Alex of unmanned tech.co.uk which worked, I think my initial problem was that I followed the instructions on the 3dr video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwgFPozVjx0 and the pin outs seemed to differ from the instructions from Alex.
The instructions that worked for me can be found at:
