Telemetry with Android phone ?

I'd like to use and Android phone for displaying the telemetry data,

just like mission planner with the XBEE.

is it possible ? how ?

i just need to view the map, altitude, etc... no need for 2 way controls etc...

Season Two of the Trust Time Trial (T3) Contest has now begun. The fourth round is an accuracy round for multicopters, which requires contestants to fly a cube. The deadline is April 14th.
