I am currently working on a design for a collapsible quadcopter that I hope to use for mapping on a dig.

my goal is to make it highly portable so I can carry it on my person most of the time even as carry-on luggage.

I have a list of hardware I intend to use but what to make sure I have included all components

4 motors

4 esc

receiver 72 FM

battery

Arduinopilot 2.5

gps antenna

I am interested in what else is required on the quad for position hold (Altitude?)

Also can one map out flight paths and waypoints using Arduinopilot 2.5?

I saw the 2.7 video with this ability

Thanks

Tommy
