Here is my setup:

Sparkfun xbee pro XBP09-DP modules. One with wire antena and one with 900mhz duck. Both have same identicle setup.

Use the bottom DOWNLOAD NEW VERSION´s.

When you connect to xbee after atualization the software ask you about atualization then choose yes.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried to dl new versions many times and it starts to dl and then says server busy try again. If I try again it says no updates found. Is it because I have the sparkfun usb (cable type) with the KB33 regulator?

I cant find anything on version 1161. Is it a typo in the manual? Should it be 1061?

Got it working but with version 1061. I cant seam to find any version 1161.

Neil, could you please explain what steps did you take in order to get it working? I'm asking 'cause I have the same problem that you are facing. 

I tried following the manual, but it's unclear about the 1061/1161 issue. So could you please explain all the steps you took, from step 1?

I followed the tutorial exactly except I am using version 1061 instead of 1161.
