Yes! enable it in the CLI under setup and preview the value with test] tune.
Will look like this:
home] setup
setup] tune 12
setup] exit
home] test
test] tune

Permalink Reply by Jose Angel on October 13, 2011 at 1:11pm It's difficult to maintain the wiki updated with such fast development cycle....
I'm sure some admin will update it soon.
Permalink Reply by Alex on October 16, 2011 at 9:34am I've just found this topic and normally i have questions : I followed the instructions from Jason , now if i rotate the knob (ch6 is assigned to a t9cap knob) i have values in cli between 0 and 1.
To understand better: if, during Loiter mode i will rotate the knob , the LOITER_P will be modified instantly and the copter will try to loiter according with this new Loiter_p , right ?
Thanks for help.
(It would be awesome if , in CLI mode/setup/tune to be possible to write HELP and to obtain the tune options
#define CH6_STABILIZE_KP 1
#define CH6_STABILIZE_KI 2
#define CH6_YAW_KP 3
// Rate
#define CH6_RATE_KP 4
#define CH6_RATE_KI 5
#define CH6_YAW_RATE_KP 6
// Altitude
#define CH6_THROTTLE_KP 7
// Extras
#define CH6_TOP_BOTTOM_RATIO 8
#define CH6_RELAY 9
#define CH6_TRAVERSE_SPEED 10
#define CH6_NAV_P 11
#define CH6_LOITER_P 12
Now if you write , in tune menu, help it's writing DISABLED)
Permalink Reply by Helldesk on October 16, 2011 at 9:40am Yes, when tuning by the CH6 knob, the new value is used right away. I first tuned Loiter P (setup -> tune 12) and found satisfactory loitering behaviour on my quad. After finding a good setting, don't touch the knob until you can get to check what the value now is via CLI (test -> tune, with Tx and Rx powered). Then set that value permanently and disable tuning via setup -> tune.
Permalink Reply by Alex on October 16, 2011 at 9:43am Great !! Now it's clear.
Last question : how to disable tuning ? "CLI : setup-> tune " then what i must write ?
Thank you.

Yes, same as tune 0
Sorry the CLI isn't more friendly. Artifact of the implementation.
Permalink Reply by nicolas grunbaum on October 26, 2011 at 1:19pm Sorry to bring this dead thread back to life but what is the today procedure after all the updates to achieve the 6ch link to the Loiter P?
Will the alternation of the value be shown somewhere on the .log file in order to identify the correct value and make a permanent entry?
