Hello guys,

I recently bought an APM2 and a dynam hawksky(multiplex easystar clone) to get me started out in making UAV's. However, it comes with  4 ch tx/rx, and the plane uses all 4 channels. Would I be able to disable the rudder to use that channel for the autopilot and fly the plane only with the wing flaps? I'm assuming I would also have to modify the radio unit?

It would be tricky, since at least one channel must be a toggle switch to change autopilot modes. Excellent 9 channels systems just cost $53, so you might as well just upgrade your radio.

expect that radio takes over 3 months to turn up :P
