UBlox GPS no fix APM 2.5

i recently got a ublox 3dr gps module for apm 2.5

but i notoiced that on the GPS module there is a fixed RED light but no blue light fixed or blinking.

could this be a wiring problem? i read on some comments on other similar threads that the blue light in the gps module should also blink while looking for sats.

i'm powering everything trought the usb for now.

i manage to get a fix, the problem was that the mission planner reports 0 sats untill it gets a fix. and the first time it took a while about 10/15 mins.

after that i get the correct number of sats.
