Unbricking - few questions

I think my (official) XBee needs unbricking. The green light does not come on, so I'm going to take the steps described in the manual, but I just need some confirmation before I completely wreck my h/w:

 

  1. It says "1. Take the module out of the interface board" - the "module" is the "top" part with the antenna? So I pull all pins out of the red module?
  2. "2. Connect the interface board to the computer." - i.e. plug the usb into the PC?
  3. "select the proper modem" - for the official release - this is the XBP09-DP?
  4. "9. Once you've confirmed that it's working again, make you sure you reset its baud rate and ID number to match your other module." - How do I find the ID on my flight XBee?

    4) just put it into the same USB adapter and read the parameters with X-CTU.
