Hi all.

Great job with APM mission planner and the APM2 in general to all involved.

As I understand when the serial USB port is communicating with the simulator (either X-plane or flightgear), the simulated attitudes, speed and positions are not updated on APM (v 1.1.75) so the display in the Flight Data view (Attitude, heading, AS, GS etc), map display and data logging will not reflect the simulated parameters. How would I get the parameters to be updated in the Flight Data view while executing HILS? Would I need to connect telemetry? Does the USB and telemetry port (UART0/2 on the APM2) operate simultaneously while performing HILS? Also APM Mission Planner makes provision for connecting to one port at a time so it does not seem that the APM Mission Planner makes provision for HILS with separate telemetry.
