I just realized that the connector on the end of my USB cable has some steel in it. When connected to the APM-2 and Ground Control the compass always read about 20 degrees off. Today I was testing my new 3DR radio and Ground Control and noticed the compass was accurate.

Since I never tried to calibrate with the USB cable connected this never caused an issue but it is interesting.
