Using Expansion Ports to transmit data back to ground station

I am trying to send an analog signal over the AN6 port of my Ardupilot v1. I remember reading somewhere that you needed an extra bit of code somewhere to enable this function. Can someone fill me in on how to make it so I can send a analog signal back to my computer over this AN6 port over xBee?

Season Two of the Trust Time Trial (T3) Contest has now begun. The fourth round is an accuracy round for multicopters, which requires contestants to fly a cube. The deadline is April 14th.
