Hello,

I'm using the APM Mission Planner to help control an unmanned drone and I need to have my own video feed set up to do so. I've been trying to understand how your video feed works, especially how you can set it up with the HUD overlay, but I can't seem to crack it. Could someone explain the flow of the video feed through the program for me? I just want to know what parts I need to duplicate/mimic in my own form from the MainV2, FlightData and ConfigPlanner screens.

Thanks a lot

the hud supports either a directshow capture device, or a mjpeg feed.

please have a look here

Hello, I am from Xichen's team. We tried the method you posted, but we couldn't get the video stream when we set the Mjpeg source to the local ip address of our computer.

Since we won't have any LAN and WiFi connectection in the airfield, what should we input to the Mjpeg source to get video from VLC?

Also, we are now able get our own camera capture by adding another "Capture" object in MainV2 and display it with a HUD in our own GCSView, but we are having problem with using two camera at the same time (we think is due to "Video Format" because the two camera have different resolution). What would you suggest to get it to work?

127.0.0.1 means the loopback device. which is always there even when not connected to a lan or wifi
