Hello all!  I have a lot of experience programming microcontrollers for motion  simulators, robots, games, musical fountains, telecomm, among others and  would like to help with the arducopter project, but I have never  participated on a community project like this!  Any guidelines?  I always get lost when checking the updates area and I don't know where to start.  Please help! I am sure I can contribute a lot!  Thank you!  Regards  Rodolfo

The simple answer is to find a specific thing you'd like to enhance/fix, and just do it: posting your work. If the various dev teams like it, they'll adopt it and probably ask you to contribute to main code, giving you access to the repositories so you can commit code within Subversion, our version control system.
