Waypoint Save

Hi all, can some one tell me what flight mode you must be in for the Waypoint save function to work?

I'm now using the PosHold function instead of Loiter but when I activated the waypoint save function on channel 8 nothing happens....?  Should the way points show in planner?

    I have used the waypoint save function and it works well.  where ever the copter is that position is saved provided you have a GPS lock.  After you record them you can put it in auto mode and play them back or use Mission Planner and download them.

      Do the waypoints show up in mission planner as you create them?  Does it matter what flight mode you are in?

        I think you would need to read the mission from GCS, don't expect the new waypoints to just spawn there.
