I'm not sure were to post this...

In-flight data is saved to the APM2.5's on-board datalogger chip.

What is the likely cause of log lines being rejected when using the very usefull APMLogVisualizer v1.34?

  • this doesn't seem to work for me.  is there a new tool that folks use to look at their log data that i haven't found yet?

    thanks for any advice.

  • The problem is that the format of a couple of the messages (NTUN, CTUN) changed in the 2.8 versions of the Arducopter code. The attached version of the code has the fixes. While I was at it I added the ability to show up to eight motors for quad/hex/octo. The animated model has not been updated, so you will have to refer to the AC manual to identify the motor numbers for hex and octo configurations. It seems to work fine with your log file.

I was hoping not to distribute alternate versions of the code so sent Dan Gray (the author of the program) a PM a while ago to point out the changes. I haven't heard back and I know that there are a few people that have issues using it with AC 2.8, so you are welcome to try this code, but I am not trying to branch off to a new project.  Version is 1.34AF.
