What was your first experience in any autopilot feature? like the first time you let your aircraft fly on its own . not just RTH, GPS hold , like set it on a Waypoint mission and sometimes beyond LOS.
for the Pass two weekend been testing my Multiwii on Nav mode. its just that odd feeling not knowing what my multirotor would do once the Switch is flipped . the first set was altitude too Low, the moment its set on auto it descended forward movement to the first waypoint and crash.
the 2nd time I set the alt higher and set it on a six waypoint to test how well it work the problem is after the Last way point the multirotor is set on RTH and it climb while returning , Panic I accidentally disarm it rather than switch Auto off then it fell from the sky.
thew 3rd is I followed the mutirotor along its waypoint just to monitor its progress, makes every one at our RC field wondering what was I doing. I set it on a Zigzag flight path but it made a figure 8 out of it....hmmm
