At the field where I fly, the launch area is on the edge of the field, and there are tall trees immediately behind the launch area. When APM decides to return to launch, it circles above the trees, about the most disconcerting place at the field!

My questions are:

1) What triggers APM to try to return to launch

2) How do I prevent it from doing that

What I'd like to do instead is to set an arbitrary point (in the middle of the field rather than at the edge) to over which the plane can circle if it feels it needs to come home.

I'm using an APM1 in a Bixler with 3DR telemetry.
