Hi all,
I would appreciate if someone can help me.
Is it possible to connect a wireless module to the ArduIMU + V3 and use it with Processing and Arduino softwares??
My intentions are to put an ArduIMU V3 underneath a skateboard and study its movements by collecting the data from its 9 DOF.
Which module would suit best?
Thanks,
viersen

Another option would be to log the data onboard instead of wirelessly. Then download and analyze the logs later.

So the ArduIMU +V3 board can be connected to any of these wireless Arduino boards with no problem. The data logging onboard instead of wirelessly its an good option for the research but my idea is to take advantage of the 3D motion sensors the ArduIMU has to control synthesis in real time while doing some tricks. so I would need to do some gesture recognition and control mapping. Still don't know how but I will find a way somehow.

But you could hook up the IMU and a shield to transmit the data wirelessly live to the same Arduino. You'd need a small power source for it too and something on the other end to do the logging like a laptop.
Alternatively you could just use a complete APM with the telemetry radio. Little or no development required and it could do onboard logging or live. Though if you already have the IMU you probably don't want to go and buy an APM too.
However you do it make sure to pack it safely away on the skateboard in a sturdy enclosure. It would be a shame to crush everything accidentally!
