Xbee Bricked

OK guys, I finally got waypoints working and have a xbee set up with it (whoo hoo!!!) 

Now moving on too my next problem I have two extra xbee pro series one that are bricked. I have scoured Google and tried every way possible to unbrick. I have tried to connect at every baud rate with no luck.. when I try the way on wikis site (http://code.google.com/p/arducopter/wiki/Quad_TelemetryPage) the error window never goes away. I have tried several times.. I tried the solution from digi's site (http://www.digi.com/wiki/developer/index.php/Bootloader_to_force_XB...) bootloader will not execute  .. I am using with sparkfun explorer usb adapter and restting by jumping pin 5 RST to ground.

Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Sometimes you have to try a few times, but I've never had one not come back to life eventually. Maybe you've got one with a real hardware problem, not just corrupted firmware?

I have a xbee with the same issue. Can Not get it to work.

I had an xbee that I couldn't unbrick... I shipped it back to 3DRobotics where I had purchased it.  They verified it was a bad unit and shipped me a postage-paid replacement.  They have great service!

I later upgraded to the 3DR radio and have been happy to say it has worked absolutely perfectly since I've received it.
