XBee error with mission planner: "No heartbeat packets received"

I'm trying to communicate between my apm2 and the mission planner, using XBee telemetry, and I always get the error "No heartbeat packets received".

When I connect the apm2 through usb the connection succeeds.

I'm using the Xbee XBP24-DM modem, and the baud rate is set on 115200.

Please follow the manual. Xbee default baud rate is 57k.

In the manual they say to use the XBP09 module, set on DP firmware .

The problem is that my module is XBP024, which doesn't support DP firmware.

Is there any way I can make it work?

Reflash your digimesh modules with a different firmware, I think it will be called XBP24-DP. DigiMesh is great stuff, but it will not work with the streaming telemetry, the duty cycle does not work for what you need. Fortunately, every time I have tried, the DP firmware is accepted by the DM modules.

Set your serial interface for both modules to 56k, not 115200.

Make sure both modules are set for the same network ID.

I already tried the 56k and it didn't work.

I have heard about the DP firmware, but it seems that it doesn't exist for my module:

I'm using the X-CTU software, and the option for DP doesn't exist for the XBP24 (it's only available for the XBP09).

i was just asking if you have reached a solution to your problem
