Systems batteries for UAVs capable of lifting heavy payloads or for long flights.

Efficiency:

With this kind of battery (6S6P60A) fully charged, a special drone used for emergency services or industrial purposes with weighing about 5kg including payload can continuous fly for 70 minutes, or to cover in-flight the equivalent of a surface of 100 hectares (1.000.000 m2)

6S6P60A battery pack – Retail: €330,00 + VAT

Configuration: 6S6P
Cell count: 36
Cell type: Li-ion  Panasonic NCR18650GA 10A
Battery pack capacity: 21Ah
Voltage (nominal) 22.2V
Max.voltage: 25.2V read more...

Genuine cells Panasonic NCR18650GA. Never compromise. Ultra durable.

These kind of cylindrical cells used in electric vehicles Tesla, have at least 70% more energy density per weight and are less heavy than LiPOs types.

For UAVs which are suitable for various industry applications, such as television broadcasting, signal relay, video surveillance, surveying and mapping, aerial photography, pipeline and powerline patrol, medical aids, agriculture, a CMEC battery pack with high energy density it is translated into a 70% longer flight time, or more heavy payloads!

See below a chart with all battery packs assembled with Panasonic NCR18650GA 3.5Ah 10A, ordered by configuration, capacity and weight. Price list.

As you, we are passionate about drones and agricultural applications. At the moment, we have developed a low-cost camera that would let you know about health of plants and crops through NDVI multispectral analysis.  The good news is that we will launch it by a crowdfunding project in Kickstarter. Here there are the main features of uSense camera.

To drive our product to the right market we would like to know your comments and thoughts regarding the next questions:

  1. Type of uses that you will do it with a camera like that.

 2. What are the features that you will love add it?

 3. How much you will be willing to pay?

Thank you for your comments, we appreciate the time and any link that you think could help us as well.

If you want to know more, don't hesitate to contact us!

Cheers,

uSense Team

Hi Silvio

I used a My Fly Dream flight controller.
I am based in the UK.
I  was involved with RC airships 20 years ago  and have recently returned to it to  develop an update electric powered system that would be practical and affordable for commercial and leisure market, using off the shelf drone components etc.
regards
Martin

@Martin Hill Compliments, your LED is amazing! What flight controller do you use? we're super interested in testing that vehicle with VOLTA 4Gmetry (http://diydrones.com/group/volta) - write me silvio@voltarobots.com and we will arrange something for sure! Once again, it's one of the most interesting projects I've seen here!

If anyone is interested, I'll process some imagery for you using Pix4d. I'm not setting out to be a data processor, but I'm spending a lot of time in the program and just finished setting up a new server for processing our images.

The weather is crap right now and I'm tired of playing with the same old data sets. If you have some you'd like to share, upload the unedited files to drive/dropbox and PM me the link.
