Ok, I guess it's time I propose to the group about my interest in these two great componets and the Ardupilot. For a long time now I've been waiting for this to come to furation and it appears that it might, so I asking you guy's what you think about this possibility.
It appears now that the new version of the FrSky transmitter and receiver can actually do some two way communication. It also appears that the 9x can display data from the APM on it's display and that's all fine and good thanks a lot to Earl.
The only thing missing now is the ability to use the Mission Planner and with the new ERSKY9x board coming soon I hope, it has bluetooth!
Now if we could just use that bluetooth to connect to the Mission Planner we would have a very useful setup! The connection would be slow 1200bps even though the connect speed is 9600 if you but too much data (over 1200bps) it will loose data.
Is it feasible that the FrSky and the 9x with the ERSKY9x board with bluetooth could do this? And what ideas do you guy's have to make that work?

If you're using a Turnigy 9x you probably have the FrSky DJT module so you can already attach a BT module directly to that and get readings? For more information on how to visit the wiki pages on the project website of android-dash at http://projects.onomato.biz/projects/android-dash.

Have fun with it. If you have any questions about the BT connection just let me know. I joined that project listed before.
Season Two of the Trust Time Trial (T3) Contest has now begun. The fourth round is an accuracy round for multicopters, which requires contestants to fly a cube. The deadline is April 14th.1355 members
