I''m studying AMP these days, and a lot of problem appeared. I download the FilghtGear and APM Planner 1.1.33 and start to simulation. Follow the wiki, I don't know clearly about HIL firmware, what does this mean? In the firmware tab, I can do nothing, click the image and fail, I don't know why and which firmware is HIL, so I can't ensure what firmware is being used.like this:

Second, working with FlightGear, I've created the bat file, and reset the lines "C:\Program Files (x86)\FlightGear\bin\Win32\fgfs" ^ "--fg-root=C:\Program Files (x86)\FlightGear\data" ^ to my FlightGear 2.4.0 files. In the APM Planner, set udp and 49005,but also could not connect, it tells me like below:

In the terminal, "Error reading com port" is showed

can anyone could help me about the error,.Thanks a lot.

   Hello Sauk,

The firmware "HIL" is used to do simulations, you have to select that firmware to simulate, after you have to change the switch to fly mode.

Thanks, but could you tell me which firmware in the picture is "HIL"?

bottom left -> "HIL SIMULATOR PLANE QUAD HELI" , click there

Tasnks, I clicked before, but an error said : Can't detect your APM version. Please check your cabling.

Now the situation remains.

:-S well... try load the code with arduino
