We have noticed that the wind doesn't seem to be calculated in the telemetry received on the APM planner during a mission. Does the APM have to have an airspeed sensor fitted in order for that to be shown?
We flew the new APM 2 the other day for the first time after using an APM 1 in a Maja, what a difference, the APM 2 is very precise! It tracked to the waypoints with no problem so it must be calculating a wind, but is not showing it!

In the store 3DR have a sensor dedicated to it with his tubopilot and silicone hose.
