now I currently use sonar that I used for the Altitude hold, can it work....????

because when I saw the feature of APM sensor used for altitude hold is Barometer

Both are used.  Sonar for low altitude, Barometer for high altitude.

 

If you move to APM2, you'll find it has a much improved barometer..so much better than you may decide that you don't need a sonar.

I still have  a question.......why does not my Quadcopter fly stable?, it flies up and down when I switched to Alt_hold mode from My radio at 2 meters height. 

Randy, is it possible to buy this improved barometer to replace the old one on the 1280 board? Knowing my

luck I bet the pin connections are differant and/or the software has to be modified. 

I upload my video and it sound the motors seem try to stand the Quadcopter, but I don't know finnaly it's landing, can I adjust the PI control on altitude hold in APM Planner to get good configuration? now I currently use APM Planner 1.1.2.
