Hi
I have a question, if I buy the motor AC2836-358, 880Kv, what kind of ESC do I have to buy, the ESC 20 Amp or the ESC 30 Amp, why and why not the other?

20A is fine, max draw with an 11in prop is about 15A. You'll hover with 2 or 3 A (per motor).  Buying a larger ESC doesn't hurt you at all but in this case the 20A is safe.

I got the 20A one by mistake, and it worked fine up to using 11" prop.  When using the 12" prop, it was a bit unstable.

I would buy the 30 A because

(1) there can be large surge currents with multirotors and headroom is good, runs cooler, more reliable

(2) there will only be a few grams extra weight and similar cost.

(3) 30 A will be more versatile for later builds.

You could consider buying ESC’s that are capable of taking Simon K firmware.  There is a Google spreadsheet somewhere that lists Simon K compatible esc

ok thank you for your help, so it doesn't matter which one I buy, both are useful for this motor, aren't they?
