In MP, I can see my radio input is working fine. However, it seems it doesn't control the quadcopter's aileron and elevator at all, when I increase throttle it just lift off and drift away. Rudder control is available though.
Did you save your RC calibration settings? Have you tried moving the sticks when you're holding the quad with the motors going, to see if you can feel it tilting in response?
Yes I saved the calibration settings. I hold the quad when I move sticks while motor running but felt nothing. Tunning screen graph show no change either... I am very puzzled.
Did you calibrate your ESCs?
Yes. the motor starts at the same time and outputs were equal. I can lift off the ground, just has no control at all (except for rudder, so which means ESCs were working I guess),,,
Will and PID affect my control abilities? I am trying to setup PIDs.
Do you have a diydrones frame and motors?
No. I am trying to do it on a hk quadcopter frame. I got it able to lift, but realize I have no aileron and elevator control...
An assumption is made that everything else is hooked up correctly tho....So yes PID's can affect control quite a bit. If i remember correctly, if stab p in pitch and roll is WAY off you could get the results you have. Adjust with caution!
Can you go through the RC setup process and post the PWM numbers you get at the end? They should be around 1,000 - 2,000. Also make sure that you don't have your RC transmitter in heli mode!
