its been very windy recently, but this is good because ive finally fot flight gear simulation running! regarding compiling for the simulator, i assume everything comes down to this line:
#define HIL_MODE HIL_MODE_DISABLED
which it seems should be set as:
anything else to change?
Yes, as far as I can tell, that's all that needs to be done.
I've been using the simulator to try and test some code I wrote within arduplane, but it's not being recognized by the simulation (but it does work in real life...)
Are you simulating for testing some specific mod, or just for fun?
thankyou, i did consider asking the question in your thread but it just seems so fundamental that i thought this would make it easier to find for the next guy :)
i want to fix some features of ROI for arducopter, get it oriented in the direction i want with scripted missions, and perhaps implement channel 7 for shutter control - theyre the last details i need to have a fully functional camera platform.
after that i may try playing around with the transition through waypoints, see if i can make it a bit smoother.
really i dont want to touch anything down at the control loop or motor level yet, so the simulator should be ideal.
