Before Posting an Issue

Hi All,

Before posting an issue or a problem in the ArduBoat Discussion Forum, please check the wiki table of contents, review the firmware release notes in the subforum, and search that subforum for existing answers to your question. Help avoid duplicate threads by finding other members with the same issue and their solution.

When formulating your post, use a descriptive title such as "rover will not navigate to waypoints in the Auto mode" (not "HELP!" or "Problem").

Please include the following information to help diagnose your query:

  • Describe the problem you are having. What is the expected verses the observed behavior?
  • Provide hardware information such as the brand and version of your autopilot, GPS, radio, and compass, as well as any other pertinent details about your rover setup.
  • What version of the APM: ArdurRover2 firmware version are you running?
  • For navigation issues, provide your tlog and/or dataflash log. Click here for instructions on retrieving a dataflash log.

Richard,

This is close to what I built.  I use a Pololu Maestro board.

Hi All,

For those of you who need a large servo to control the rudder on a small to medium size boat, checkout this brushed dc servo drive on Hackaday.

Exactly,

one row on PC monitor, 2 rows on 10 inch Android tablet in PC version mode since row of tabs is hard coded to fit vs. javascript soft coded row of tabs to fit monitor size.

So on my tablet

1st row:

Home Store About Forums News ArduCopter ArduPlane ArduRover PX4 Software

2nd row

Members

So solution is easy, header font can be resized or

2-row tabs solution implemented

What second row? There's only one row of tabs.

Comment by Darius Jack on January 31, 2016 at 4:06pm

Sorry @Tom,
but there is still room for ArduBoat in second row of the main tab, exactly as "Members" in second row opens correctly.
ArduBoat is not ArduRover.

**********Attention ArduBoat User Group Members**********
ArduBoat is still alive and well and can now be found as a sub-tab under ArduRover. Unfortunately there are a fixed number of Main Tabs on the front page so ArduBoat was relocated to give way to the PX4 Software main tab.

@David,

PX4 Software is a product by Lorenz Meiter and ETH Zurich.
To my understanding 3DR is developer of PX4 hardware.
I am surprised PX4 Software development team is not present of DIYDrones to discuss drone fly-away syndrome.

Replacing ArduBoat by PX4 Software is not smart.
