looks cool Harry, i looked flightgear up, I might take a try at it once i have some free space to download and install it

Here's a screenshot.  It's working great, better than the real deal.  I'm not seeing all the benefit other than a novelty if it isnt the actual model I'm flying.  Maybe I'll play with the PID's just to see how that one reacts.

it resembles an FY-20A stabilizer, with the extra mode added Brian.

should be neat to hear how it works, i just received my FY-20A in the mail i might try it out too this week

While I'm waiting on my new stuff to arrive (new Legacy board, shield, IMU and Ublox) I also have this board to test out.

It's called JCX M6 Flight Controller and is mainly just a stabilizer for FPV but does have a mode to help perform stunts. It doesn't have the best user manual but I mainly bought it for a micro jet I have.  It's like 19 in wing and 23 in long and is the craziest thing I've flown.  I run a Styker motor on the back and it's VERY FAST.  I need some help, so hopefully this will work for me.

The weather has me grounded too so I've decided to give HIL a try.  It's a whole new hobby with less risk.  Might look into creating a flightgear model of my model or maybe not.  It's probably not easy to do or there would be an easystar already.

Brian, I trust your experience with tuning or knowing what not to tune.  You've been successfully flying this board.

Here's what I saw today.  It was gusty, but it was fine in manual.  I switched to FBW and when it got upset it would make big corrections and it seemed like it took awhile for it to settle. Some of the board corrections were just too big  It has natural stability so whatever the settings, it will need to be as stable as manual.
