Thursday is a public holiday and a couple of us electric flyers (and multicopter flyers) are meeting at the Old Potch Boys Cricket Club off Matebele Str, Northcliff, JHB at 7am if anyone wants to join.

A few km according to the wiki (http://code.google.com/p/arducopter/wiki/3DRadio) but that's not specifically at that power, however a reported 4.5km @ 12.5mW.
Comment by Mike on July 23, 2012 at 1:37pm Cool, any idea of range at that power output?

Yes, as far as I can tell (@ 10mW) http://www.info.gov.za/view/DownloadFileAction?id=145878
