Hello In cold weather and hard ground, the tip of the fiber carbon legs peel off at first, and then they break off. I assumed the new legs are made from carbon fiber.  I do not see what purpose these tips serve but make the landing harder on the frame. If the tips are removed the legs are flexible and act like a sponge for hard landing.  D
