What model of wing and where did you buy it at?

Comment by Petrus Botha on March 29, 2012 at 9:20am

Zachary, it was scratch built

It's really great, can you give me more photos or plan please.

That looks great! How did you form the foam? CNC?

d'Escodeca, Thanks for the compliment. Sorry I have no building plans, this plane was built on the fly, an experiment with EPS wich evolves as I continue.I will however update photos as this project continues and after it is complete, maidened and fully functional draw-up building plans and make it available to members of this site.

Chris, no, not CNC, for that I would have had Solidworks plans draw-up. Wings cut with hot wire on my kitchen table with SWAMBO helping and  fuse rounded by hand.

looks great and at first glance i would have thought this was store bought and not from the kitchen counter and personaly handcrafted :)

Chivar, Thanks for the compliment. Regarding a kit, sorry. If you read my previous comments to d'Escodeca you will see that this is an experiment, still to be completed and maidened. I will however, when completed, draw-up building plans and make it available to members of this site so you can build your own.

It looks great. It look like it will fly well. I need to learn how to hotwire. Where do you get the materials to build your scratch build?
