Winter Testing VAV UAV

Testing MAN/STAB/RTL modes in crispy -25°C weather. All worked well.

Comment by Veikko Vierola on February 4, 2012 at 9:33am: Tested my VAV UAV today at -25°C, Manual, Stabilize and RTL modes, all went well and the A/C flies nicely. I also had GSM/GPS logger on the top of the A/C. Top speed 74km/h, landing with flaps out speed 30-40km/h. Tomorrow some route nav testing....

What is the airframe that youre using ? Could you give details of the internals, choice of esc, lipo, motor etc. please.

Season Two of the Trust Time Trial (T3) Contest has now begun. The fourth round is an accuracy round for multicopters, which requires contestants to fly a cube. The deadline is April 14th.
