Very nice montage, looks clear and well done.

What kind of airplane is that? Seems perfect fo FPV too.

Question for you.  I'm actually taking your idea for the cut nose and electronics deck (thanks for the idea! its great!)  So far i've got everything done but what i'm wondering is how you re-secured the nose.  Currently i'm using tape but am looking for a more secure solution.

Sorry I haven't been real active lately fellas. Here's answers to your comments:

Ron: Thanks!

Jose: it's the Sky Surfer from Banana Hobby.

Mohamed: AC->DC benchtop power supplies eliminate batteries while testing. http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/28-2200&t=1

Electronics deck works great. I have 2 decks: 1 autopilot and another with just receiver and batteries for testing platform alone. Might create a third for FPV.

Nose secured with pins and magnets. I'm not happy with it though. It doesn't look good. I picked up some plastic balls (like christmas tree ornaments). I might try securing half of a ball to the front end. It might make for a great FPV viewport. Servo extension wires sure come in handy. I can test it outside of the airframe without disconnecting it.

Pretty busy summer. No time to work on this!

http://readymaderc.com has the plane for US shipping. Thanks for the reply Hopper, i might take the magnets out of the other plane i have to use in the nose. Right now i'm fiddling with the idea of 2" carbon fiber rods and/or bullet connectors, bullet connectors seem easier if i can get them glued in solid. readymaderc has a pan/tilt canopy for this plane which i kind of want to get and put a smoked plastic dome over
